Appearance: Harvey’s a tall man, not shockingly so but hardly on the side of short. He’s got the recessive genes; blond hair, blue eyes, not pale but a healthy skin tone because it was part of looking the part, the kind of DA you could trust would be able to handle the throws Gotham’s criminals were more than happy to give. He’s broad shouldered, strong jaw and cleffed chin, in every way really an American clean cut kind of stereotype in a suit and tie. He lacks any real distinguishing marks (scars, tattoo’s, dashes of interest).

Personality: Harvey Dent is a knight in shining armor; perhaps a hero complex (just a bit really), a strong head on his shoulders, stronger attachments. He’s a doer, smart enough to plan well but more than willing to throw himself to diffusing the ticking bomb if no option is available. Harvey wants to change the city, he wants to fight crime and reward the good. He is essentially the unmasked Batman, making bold moves with little regard to his own life. The world is almost black and white to him, good is good, bad is bad. Two sides of a coin. In a place like Gotham it has to be. Once you cross that line, once you let things blur to grey things get harder to grasp and control. Like being one of Batman's biggest supporters even though one day he'll likely be putting the man behind bars. Like relying on the same cops he eyes with suspicion, who he would easily put away if the evidence was right. Like both distrusting and respecting Jim Gordon, Harvey Dent can't mix those two sides. Gotham hangs their hope on him.

With such strong conviction comes emotionality, an uncontrollable aspect buried. Sometimes being good just isn’t enough, sometimes people do not reward you, sometimes good people get hurt, so shouldn’t bad people be hurt back? Sometimes, sometimes you have to cross that line, load that gun, to protect them, the worthwhile, the ones you love.

But of course that’s desperation. The White Knight of Gotham doesn’t break those rules, no. Because people do deserve to be rewarded for their faith, idealism can be put into practice and thrive. A man like Harvey Dent, he won’t allow desperation to seep into his life. He’ll fight and fight, as long as he has the pieces that keep him together.

Abilities/Strengths: Harvey is your run of the mill human being. He’s physically capable enough to hold his own in a fight but he’s no Batman, so to speak. His greatest strengths fall under his charisma, he’s a popular idealistic politician with a strong support in a largely corrupt city. He’s (stubborn) determined and a good public speaker. Being a lawyer he's good at finding weakness in arguments and other's; being from Gotham he's a bit desensitized to mindless violence, enough that he wouldn't succumb to fear. His bold actions are both a strength and weakness.

Weaknesses: Harvey’s got a dark streak, an angry one, one he’s expert at repressing unless things rub him just the wrong way, the right buttons are mashed at and he loses his cool. He tends towards hypocrisy in a lot of what he says and occasionally lives up to his nickname, Harvey ‘Two Face.’ As a run of the mill human he is not terribly powerful and is not a trained fighter, though living in Gotham has given him some idea of how to defend himself. He tends towards bold actions that can often lead to trouble or danger to his own life.

Notable Possessions: His only possession of note is his keepsake, his father’s lucky coin. It’s a double headed coin he’s quite attached to as a charm. Otherwise just the clothes on his back.
